CONTACT ME
A pair of contact improvisation dancers and a pair of tango dancers come into contact, experiment and explore. How does each couple experience their hugging? What happens when a contact dancer is connected to a tango dancer? What kind of dialogue will they create and how will they influence each other?
How will the public respond to the dancers' call to approach and interact with them? Performance itself, as well as our lives, is triggered and transformed by every preceding contact and interaction, making it an endless work in progress. Butoh, contact and tango dance elements will meet and interact in order to confront our need for contact and explore its multiple textures.

2 videodance from Germany, with ‘’contact’’ as their main subject were created especially for the performance ‘’Contact me’’ and will be shown to the audience during the performances in Promenade AVDP 2020
COME TO LEAVE
The first videodance with the title ‘’Come to leave’’ was created in the city Bonne in Germany, by the tango dancers Lucia Marisol Merz, Aaron Wilde, Anna Pegels, Nikita Freeman, Natali Petala, Ismail Güler and the camera-men, Florian Weber and Dominik Decker. An apparently forgotten yellow scarf in a subway train station connects randomly the passers-by and invites them to contact in a unique way and only for a moment that comes and leaves.
LEANING IN
The second videodance with the title ‘’Leaning In’’ was created in the city Freiburg in Germany by the contact improvisation dancers Anna Kempin and Johannes Blattner.
LEANING IN negotiates the encounter of two bodies by giving and taking weight. The bodies communicate on a deeper level of body sensations by listening and taking time. The sharing of weight and gravity creates an alternative connection between human beings besides intellectual, political and social conditions.
