Nikolaos A Tsounakas is an artist with international activity, based in Athens. Through his work, he tries to communicate the modern contradictions we face as creators and people. Such contradictions are, among others, the real and the imaginary, the source and the artificial, the animal and the human.
His inspiration, to a large extent, comes from observing the behavioral patterns of modern western society, accompanied, but also in contrast to those of nature. With obvious references to mythology, tradition and wildlife, its goal is to create works that come from social concerns. These are carried out in direct relations to the public space and turn out to feed back on these concerns, at last.

PERFORMERS//EDUCATORS
THEArtemis Manakou combining her experience from Greece (theatrical, cinematographic, visual and dance studies and productions) and her latest training in the Netherlands in choreography and performance composition (Henny Jurriens Foundation) and Somatics Technique (Natalie Heller) will offer her expertise in creation. Mainly through her latest artistic research on a kinesiology level in relation to the search for different kinetic techniques of somatization, which aim to create a stage character.
In particular, transferred from various interdisciplinary/artistic fields to others, this practice is grounded in the philosophy of physical theater which is its domain and seeks to examine the basic principles behind many modern and traditional movement techniques in the light of evolutionary physiology and its inseparable relationship with the environmental adaptation of each body's movement. Driven by a better understanding of body mechanics, human neurological and cognitive functions, biological processes and the physical laws of any kinetic landscape, it seeks a richer range of possibilities in human movement as well as taking into account anthropological and philosophical observations of modern habits and ways of life, the behavior of certain animals and insects and weather phenomena always in relation to the natural environment as a mother that nourishes and develops all of the above.
